EP38 - Front Hub Rebuild, Disc Brake and rotor replacement, Landcruiser, FJ40 plus Spartan
AS we move closer to the end of finishing the front end, I have removed the front hub and rebuild it, first removing the bearings, seals, wheel stubs and brake rotor. Cleaned out all the old grease and removed the old gaskets off. Then after painting the hub I installed the new flash brake rotors.

GRAYZBILDZ : Really enjoying the rebuild Jayson. Just picked up an FJ45 that will be a full rebuild like you are doing. One recommendation for fitting bearing races, get the old race you removed and with a thin kerf cutoff disk, cut a single cut through the race. This allows you to use the old race to tap in the new race without the old race getting stuck. Keep up the great work. Cheers, Andy.

Bill Graham : I use my old races to drive my new races in. It ensures that no scratches are incurred from a drift, plus it has surface to surface contact.
